Woohoo finally a local gluten free fish & chips place, I'm not gluten free but my wife is and options are limited in the area. I tried the GF fish too and it was tasty 👍🏼 and so was mine. Thanks for offering it and I hope it stays 🙏🏼

The year was 1992, we was away out of town following a family friend's son's football teams tournament in Cornwall. Between us I'm not so sure why we did this as neither of my two brother's or myself were remotely intested in football. The highlight of the week was the teams mini bus breaking down and whilst waiting for recovery I remember my dad going off and bringing back portions of chips for everyone. Up until today, 32 years later I have never had a chip taste as good as this place. Believe me every chip since 1992 has been compared to that moment but has never lived up until today. I can't comment on the rest of the menu but if thier humble chip has caused this much of a reaction within me then I can only imagine what the rest of thier menu is like.

Great food, generous sizes and reasonable prices they offer gluten free options which is a rarity.

Absolutely fantastic! Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden batter that wasn’t too greasy. The chips were thick-cut, fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of crunchy. I also loved the mushy peas—classic and delicious! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, even during the busy rush. Portions are generous, and the prices are great for the quality and size of the meal. Whether you're dining in or taking away, this place is a gem. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving traditional fish and chips!

Fantastic cod and chips. I'm a bit of a fussy eater (hate coming across bones in my fish), I can gladly say that there were no bones and it were cooked to perfection with fantastic seasoning. I'd definitely eat here again.
